Gamestop was never super useful to me since I've never been a big console gamer. XD
They used to have a pretty good PC game collection when I was young~

That was the case with older consoles in general too. I tried so hard to find the .hack games... But I couldn't find a single one!

The first games I had was most likely on my Gameboy: Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. This in an age just before Pokemon.

Mario and Duck Hunt for NES. I played it with my dad all the time. He lost interest in video games however while mine deepened.

I remember playing a version of Duck Hunt on Wii. xD It was quite interesting.

For me, it was Super Mario Bros. on NES. I loved finding the secret sections to skip levels :3

My very first game would be Nintendo Game&Watch "Rain Shower".

I played various things on friends and relatives and rented Nes few times for a weekend (SMB2, Punch Out, Megaman) before I finally got Sega MAster System. It had build-in Hang-On, light gun game Safari Hunt and the the "secret" game Snail Maze. Aside those I got to choose one of cheapest games with it and I took The Ninja.

I don't remember anyone selling anything Sega as a kid but someone must have because a friend's dad had a Game Gear rotting away in a closet. In hindsight I should've offered to buy it from him for novelty. I did buy myself a Dreamcast though as an adult just to say I own a Sega. I should get the other Sega consoles for my collection someday.
